We’re looking for talented Pastry Chefs to join the Public House Group across our London venues, bringing creativity, precision, and a passion for exceptional desserts! Salary: Earn up to £20 per hour (£14 - £15 per hour + Service charge)

What you'll be doing as a Pastry Chef:

  • Prepare and present all pastry items, including plated desserts, cakes, tarts, breads, and other baked goods to the highest standard.
  • Follow and execute recipes accurately while also contributing creative ideas for new seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure all mise en place is completed ahead of service.
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and health & safety standards in accordance with HACCP and company policies.
  • Manage stock rotation and help reduce food waste in the pastry section.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory management related to pastry ingredients and supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with other chefs and front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
  • Remain calm and focused during busy service periods, ensuring quality is never compromised.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in your section.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of food during service.
  • Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen team to ensure an efficient, positive working environment.

About you, our new Pastry Chef:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a quality restaurant or hotel.
  • A genuine passion for pastry, baking, and seasonal produce.
  • A strong eye for detail and an appreciation for presentation.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver exceptional results during busy service.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
