As Head Maître D', you will be the first impression and final farewell for every guest. Your role is to orchestrate a seamless welcome, manage the flow of service from the front, and work closely with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth, memorable experience for each guest.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of the venue, warmly greeting and seating guests with professionalism and flair.
  • Handle guest enquiries and complaints with discretion, empathy, and swift resolution.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere by maintaining a friendly, calm and courteous demeanour whilst working in a fast paced environment.
  • Manage waitlists during peak times and keep guests informed of wait times.
  • Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure a smooth dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a senior host or Maître D' role in a premium or high-volume venue.
  • Genuinely passionate about people, food, and hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with a natural ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Salary

£19 per hour including service charge.
