As Head Maître D', you will be the first impression and final farewell for every guest. Your role is to orchestrate a seamless welcome, manage the flow of service from the front, and work closely with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth, memorable experience for each guest.
Responsibilities
- Act as the face of the venue, warmly greeting and seating guests with professionalism and flair.
- Handle guest enquiries and complaints with discretion, empathy, and swift resolution.
- Foster a positive atmosphere by maintaining a friendly, calm and courteous demeanour whilst working in a fast paced environment.
- Manage waitlists during peak times and keep guests informed of wait times.
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure a smooth dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a senior host or Maître D' role in a premium or high‑volume venue.
- Genuinely passionate about people, food, and hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
