Overview

Maintain a high level of service and ensure guests feel genuinely welcomed.

Oversee daily operations including reservations, floor management, and service delivery.

Work closely with the Head Chef and management team to deliver a smooth, efficient service.

Support, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent service and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Ensure the restaurant complies with all conditions of the license, policy and legislation, including health and safety, and maintains a clean and safe environment.

Monitor quality, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction, working closely with the team to maintain high standards and support your team during a busy service.

Restaurant Manager – The Horses

We are looking for a hands on, dynamic and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our new opening, The Horses!

Opening in August 2026, The Horses will bring a fresh hospitality offering to Farringdon.

Set within a building that has long been part of the local community, the venue will combine a pub atmosphere with exceptional dining, quality drinks, and attentive service across multiple floors.

This is an opportunity to join a new opening and help shape the venue from day one, becoming part of a business that values quality, teamwork, and a shared passion for great service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of service and ensure guests feel genuinely welcomed.
  • Oversee daily operations including reservations, floor management, and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry.
  • Ideally have previous experience in a high end venue or fine dining.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Salary & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Service charge (Earn an extra circa £12,000 per annum).
