What you'll be doing as our Back of House Manager:

  • Oversee all back-of-house areas to ensure they are clean, safe, organised and running efficiently.
  • Optimise storage and space and create smart systems for dry goods, chilled produce, equipment and consumables in a space-constrained property.
  • Coordinate all deliveries and act as the main contact for goods-in/goods-out, checking, storing and rotating stock accurately.
  • Lead waste management, set up and maintain recycling, waste segregation, contractor relationships and bin-store standards.
  • Support operational teams by working closely with kitchen, bar, events and building operations to meet daily and upcoming needs.
  • Maintain compliance and safety specifically COSHH, manual handling, fire safety and all regulatory standards across BOH spaces.
  • Drive pre-opening readiness by building BOH systems from scratch, create procedures, support staff induction and ensure full operational readiness for launch.

About you, our new Back of House Manager:

  • Experienced in BOH operations, logistics or facilities management, ideally in luxury hospitality or high-end F&B.
  • Skilled in managing storage, goods movement and logistics in tight spaces.
  • Strong working knowledge of waste management systems and recycling compliance.
  • Pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Hands-on, solutions-focused and confident communicator with suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
  • Knowledgeable in health & safety (COSHH, manual handling, fire safety).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational management tools.
  • Flexible with availability across mornings, evenings and weekends when required.
