We're looking for talented Pastry Chefs to join the Public House Group across our London venues, bringing creativity, precision, and a passion for exceptional desserts! What you'll be doing as a Pastry Chef:
- Prepare and present all pastry items, including plated desserts, cakes, tarts, breads, and other baked goods to the highest standard.
- Follow and execute recipes accurately while also contributing creative ideas for new seasonal offerings.
- Ensure all mise en place is completed ahead of service.
- Maintain strict food hygiene and health & safety standards in accordance with HACCP and company policies.
- Manage stock rotation and help reduce food waste in the pastry section.
- Assist with ordering and inventory management related to pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Work collaboratively with other chefs and front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
- Remain calm and focused during busy service periods, ensuring quality is never compromised.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in your section.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of food during service.
- Maintain excellent communication with the kitchen team to ensure an efficient, positive working environment.

- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a quality restaurant or hotel.
- A genuine passion for pastry, baking, and seasonal produce.
- A strong eye for detail and an appreciation for presentation.
