We are looking for enthusiastic and confident Bartenders to join our front of house team at our newest venue in Portobello, The Fat Badger. This vibrant venue will be offering exceptional dining and drinking experiences to our guests, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We take pride in serving high quality food and beverages, whilst delivering outstanding customer service.

Salary: £12.71 - £13 per hour

Tips: earn up to £19 per hour

What you'll be doing as a Bartender at The Fat Badger:

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and style.
  • Engage with customers, recommend drinks, and provide suggestions based on preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every guest feels valued and welcome.
  • Support the team with opening and closing procedures.
  • Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborative teamwork, communicate effectively with front of house team to ensure a smooth dining experience for all guests.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are well-stocked.

About you, our new Bartender:

  • Previous bartending experience is a plus, but we'll also train enthusiastic individuals willing to learn.
  • A passion for craft cocktails, beer, and spirits.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, a natural conversation starter and can easily build a rapport with guests.
  • Be passionate and care about the detail, love hospitality and enjoy what you do.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
  • Advantageous if you have strong wine knowledge, or a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a high-end and high-volume establishment is preferable but not imperative.
  • Ideally looking for a minimum of one year experience in a high end - food led business.
