The predicted salary is between 46000 - 52000 £ per year.
This post is fixed term for 23 months due to funding. This role can be based nationally with home working in a hybrid model requiring access to the internet. The post holder will have a formal base either Cardiff, North Wales, or Swansea offices. The role will require some travel (at least once a month) to Cardiff where the central team is based and to engage with health and social care partners across Wales.
The post holder will provide senior strategic leadership for the delivery of the Trauma and ACE informed (TrACE) Organisational Toolkit within the ACE Hub Wales, with a specific focus on supporting the Welsh NHS and Social Care sector. This role requires focus on working with Health and Social Care in Wales, namely the seven health boards, local authorities, NHS Performance and Improvement, Traumatic Stress Wales, and Social Care Wales to deliver on the commitment to becoming Trauma-informed.
Main duties of the job
- Advocacy and Project Management support for the implementation of the toolkit across the sectors.
- Work with the ACE Hub Wales TrACE team and Community of Practice to develop and promote resources.
- Lead on supporting the organisational development required with partner organisations.
- Lead on the production and development of the reporting into ACE Hub Trauma-informed NHS Knowledge Exchange.
- Collaborate with ACE Hub Wales leads working across sectors delivering the TrACE toolkit.
In relation to these areas of responsibility, the post holder will lead on the development and implementation of related policy, procedures and strategy documents which will be required for assurance and project management - supporting the ACE Hub Wales, Trauma-informed Wales Framework and Health and Social Care governance structures. This will require provision of expert advice and senior management leadership to ensure the achievement of Health and Social Care commitments set for the ACE Hub Wales in the delivery plan agreed with Welsh Government.
