Public Health Wales is recruiting 12 young people aged 18-25 from across Wales to help shape how we engage with and listen to young people. This role gives you the chance to influence our strategies, campaigns, and future plans.

Flexible Bank Based Working
- No guaranteed hours; average involvement around 6 hours per month
- Hours may vary depending on activity and your availability
- Designed to work around studies, work, health needs or caring responsibilities
- Sessions may take place on weekdays, weekends or evenings to work flexibly around other commitments.

Skills and Experience
- Ability to engage confidently with other young people, professionals and partners.
- Strong communication skills, including listening, sharing views and representing others' perspectives.
- Experience (formal or informal) of working with or supporting young people, youth groups, community groups, or similar.
- Ability to contribute ideas and co-produce workshops, activities or campaigns.
- Confidence to contribute in meetings, including with senior leaders.
- Welsh Language Skills are desirable at levels 1 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh.

- Genuine interest in public health, children's rights and improving outcomes for young people.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and willing to get involved.
- Able to work respectfully and collaboratively with a wide range of people.

£12.71 an hour Real Living Wage, holiday pay is included as an additional 12.07%
