Senior Improvement Manager

Are you committed to improving mental health services in Wales? We are recruiting for a full-time Senior Improvement Manager to join the Mental Health and Learning and Disability Team.

In this role you will initially work alongside the dementia care programme team, ensuring the delivery of the national dementia care improvement programme. This is an exciting time to join the team as we focus on key actions to support regions across Wales deliver improved care for those with dementia, their families, carers and communities. You will also be part of the wider mental health team and have the opportunity to support the broader and developing mental health programme.

It will be essential for the post holder to build a strong and effective working relationship with colleagues working in the broader NHS Executive, people with lived experience, health boards, partner agencies, improvement teams, academia and Welsh Government.

You’ll be joining an ambitious team, comprising some of the most qualified, experienced improvement professionals in health and social care in Wales. Together, we lead, embed and champion improvement across Wales – drawing on international best practice and evidence. As part of our ongoing development, we want to strengthen our team by recruiting new team members from diverse backgrounds with a mix of skills, personalities and experiences.
