Breast Test Wales is looking for a highly motivated and competent part‑time Screening Pathway Administrator to join our team and play a vital part in a rewarding role.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of national screening programmes in Wales by providing essential pathway administration functions, including scheduling, processing data, extracting and analysing information for participant screening records, and handling participant communications.
- Deliver high‑quality administrative support by accurately managing participant records and pathways in line with data protection and governance standards.
- Apply knowledge and judgement to assess screening history, allocate appropriate pathways and complete required failsafe checks.
- Coordinate appointments, ensuring efficient booking, rescheduling and cancellation processes.
- Act as a key point of contact, providing clear guidance and handling sensitive enquiries from participants, clinicians and healthcare professionals.
- Communicate screening information effectively.
- Support operational service delivery, including results processing and documentation management.
- Maintain compliance with national policies and contribute to audits, quality assurance and continuous service improvement.
- Maintain data integrity across multiple IT systems and national databases.
- Contribute to team effectiveness through collaboration, training support and proactive service development.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience in a customer‑service environment.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork skills and a professional, sensitive approach to handling women and other parties.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
Working Hours
Wednesday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
