To provide comprehensive and confidential personal assistant (PA) support to Consultants and other Medical Staff in Microbiology. The post holder is required to communicate across directorates, with staff and stakeholders and produce a high standard of work to meet deadlines, whilst ensuring compliance with Public Health Wales policies.

We are seeking a full time (37.5 hours) Personal Assistant to join the Microbiology team based at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen. Candidates will need to be enthusiastic, well-motivated and innovative. Have well developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to lead and support individual and team working. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and confidential PA support to Consultants and other Medical Staff in Microbiology.
  • Communicate across directorates, with staff and stakeholders and produce a high standard of work to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with Public Health Wales policies and procedures.
  • Support individual and team working and contribute to a collaborative environment.
