Role Overview: Senior Finance Business Partner – Finance and Performance Division, Operations and Finance Directorate. The role is based at Capital Quarter 2 in Cardiff and may involve occasional travel to other Public Health Wales sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead finance professionalism within the Senior Finance Team and act as a key member of senior management teams of directorates.
- Support the Deputy Director of Finance in managing performance of the finance business partnering teams and ensure delivery of efficient and effective finance services.
- Develop and implement the Public Health Wales financial strategy, deliver annual financial plans, and translate them into agreed budgets inclusive of required CIP targets.
- Participate actively in senior management teams of directorates to shape finance strategy and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven senior finance experience and strong business partnering skills.
- Ability to develop and implement financial strategy and budgeting plans.
- Desirable ability to speak Welsh; Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome.
