Public Health Wales is expanding its IT Operations team and recruiting a Digital Project Manager to help deliver improvements across our digital infrastructure. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
In this new role you’ll work closely with the Senior Digital Project Manager and experienced technical colleagues to manage a range of infrastructure and digital projects, including server and network changes, cloud platforms, applications and end‑user services. You’ll also contribute to major national and organisation‑wide transformation programmes, such as the National Lung Screening Programme for Wales, ensuring IT Operations delivers its responsibilities effectively.
You’ll join a small, supportive team of IT professionals, with flexible working opportunities and a public sector culture built on collaboration and wellbeing.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is well organised, has strong communication skills and experience managing IT or digital projects. NHS or public sector experience is beneficial.
