As a Court Registry Support Officer, you will support the Court's day‑to‑day operations by providing administrative support and customer service. Your day will involve engaging with lawyers, judges, and the public – whether over the phone, face to face, or via email. You will work closely with Court Registry Officers and support them while they manage case files.

Day to day, your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing timely and efficient customer service
  • Supporting judges and Court Registry Officers both in and out of the courtroom
  • Providing general administrative support for Court Registry Officers, including photocopying, scanning, and file management
  • Managing the incoming and outgoing mail
  • Monitoring the email inbox, sorting, distributing, and replying to emails as appropriate
  • Data entry
  • Providing support and advice to our diverse customer base
  • Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries to the relevant person where appropriate
  • Ensuring court files are prepared and delivered to the appropriate judge within the required timeframe

Please note, this is a 5 month fixed term full‑time position.

  • Full NZ driver’s licence

Salary:

The remuneration band for this role is $56,343 to $74,416 – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
