We’re looking for a long form video editor to lead on editing long-form video content for PubityGroup\'s flagship brand Pubity - with a focus on original content on the Pubity YouTube channel.
Your main focus will be on the Pubity brand, delivering high quality content every week. This is a hands-on editing role for someone with sharp instincts, fast turnaround ability, and a deep understanding of how to shape footage into wholesome and entertaining content that resonates. You’ll work closely with the Long Form Video Lead to bring ideas to life and help ensure our video output to the Pubity YouTube channel is consistent.
Core Responsibilities
- Edit video content for Pubity Group – take the lead on long-form video content for the Pubity YouTube channel, ensuring output is platform-optimised and aligned to each brand’s tone of voice.
- Collaborate with the wider team – work closely with the Long Form Video Lead to support ideation and execution of low-lift formats, hero content, and new video concepts.
- Optimise for platform – deliver video built for YouTube, with strong attention to pacing, text, formatting, hooks, and platform-specific best practices.
- Analyse performance – work with the wider team to review content performance and incorporate learnings into future edits and format evolution.
- Work at speed – deliver clean, effective edits for the desired weekly upload schedule and supporting on shoots, and assist the team with originals shoots (anything from camera operation to providing production support).
What You Bring
- 4+ years experience editing long-form content for a similar publisher or YouTube creator
- You have a proven track record of high performing YouTube edits
- Deep understanding of what performs on YouTube
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality edits quickly and independently
- Flexibility to adapt across brand tone and storytelling needs
- Collaborative, communicative and able to take feedback constructively
- Detail-oriented with strong visual storytelling instincts
- You know your way around DSLR/mirrorless cameras and have some on-set experience
- Can provide examples of projects you’ve shot and edited
Bonus If You Have
- Proficiency in After Effects and Photoshop
- Interest in AI tools that support or streamline workflows
- Familiarity with Monday.com and Frame.io
- Know your way around YouTube Studio and are comfortable reading video analytics
