We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help build Pubity Suite, the internal product platform behind one of the world’s largest social publishers. This is a hands-on engineering role with genuine end-to-end ownership. You’ll work alongside our existing build engineer and take products from problem and system design through to frontend, backend, data, deployment and adoption.
The opportunity: Pubity Suite is the operating system behind 22+ social first brands, 170M+ followers and more than 180 billion lifetime views. It runs across editorial, social, commercial, finance and leadership, covering dashboards, automations, AI tooling, content pipelines, talent and creator systems. The platform is live, it has real users and we’re continuing to expand what it can do. We’re now looking for a second engineer who can take genuine ownership of the build. This isn’t a role where you’ll be one engineer amongst a large development team. We need someone comfortable making decisions, solving ambiguous problems and carrying features from database through to frontend without separate QA, DevOps or specialist frontend and backend teams around them. If you enjoy that level of ownership, you’ll have plenty of it here.
What you’ll do:
- Own features end to end
- Build and ship new features across Pubity Suite.
- Take ownership across frontend, backend, data and deployment.
- Work through technical and system design decisions before turning them into production software.
- Pick up increasingly complex workstreams and own them independently.
- Work alongside our existing build engineer during a structured handover and as we increase our internal engineering capability.
- Improve the architecture and engineering foundations of the Suite as it continues to grow.
Build AI native products:
- AI is already part of how Pubity works. You’ll help turn the best internal ideas and workflows into reliable products that people actually use.
- Build AI powered tools, automations, agents and internal workflows.
- Work hands on with Anthropic’s API and other LLM tooling.
- Design systems that account for reliability, failure modes and real world usage.
- Help us decide what should remain a lightweight automation and what deserves to become part of the core Pubity Suite.
Work close to the business:
- You’ll sit within Product and Delivery and work directly with the people using what you build. That means understanding the problem rather than simply receiving a technical ticket.
- You’ll work across editorial, commercial, audience, data and operations, turning business requirements into products and features that make a measurable difference.
Who we’re looking for:
- You’ve shipped real products in production and you’re comfortable owning the technical decisions behind them.
- You think beyond your individual part of the stack and understand how frontend, backend, data and infrastructure fit together.
- Most importantly, you’re comfortable operating with autonomy.
- You can take a problem, understand the requirements, design an approach, build it, deploy it and own what happens next.
- You’ll have strong experience building and shipping production web applications as a Full Stack or Product Engineer.
- Strong React and TypeScript experience.
- Strong backend development experience and a good understanding of APIs and application architecture.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge, ideally including Postgres.
- System design experience and the ability to explain the reasoning behind your architectural decisions.
- Experience taking features from initial requirement through development, deployment and production.
- Experience integrating AI or LLM APIs into real products.
- Experience working with data warehouses, analytics platforms or data heavy applications.
- The ability to work independently without relying on dedicated QA, DevOps, frontend or backend teams.
- Strong communication skills. You’ll regularly need to explain technical decisions to people who aren’t engineers.
- Good judgement around when to move quickly, when to refactor and when not to over engineer.
We’re completely comfortable with engineers using AI as part of their development workflow. What matters is that you understand what you’re building and can explain and defend the technical decisions behind it.
Our current stack:
- React
- TypeScript
- Supabase
- Postgres
- n8n
- BigQuery
- Netlify
- Anthropic API
You don’t necessarily need to have worked professionally with every technology on that list. We’re more interested in strong engineering fundamentals and evidence that you can get across a stack quickly than somebody who simply matches every keyword.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in media, publishing, social or the creator economy.
- Experience as a founding or early engineer within a startup.
- Experience working in a small engineering team where you’ve had broad technical ownership.
- Supabase experience.
- BigQuery experience.
- Experience with n8n or similar orchestration tools such as Temporal, Airflow or Prefect.
- Experience replacing legacy or externally built systems with internal products.
- Strong product and design instincts. You care about how something works for the person using it, not only how it’s engineered.
- Side projects, open source contributions or products you’ve built that you can show us.
What success looks like:
- Within your first few months, you’ll understand the Pubity Suite architecture and be shipping features within our sprint cycle.
- As you get further into the role, you’ll begin owning features independently and taking direct engineering load away from our existing build engineer.
- Ultimately, we want you to be able to carry complete workstreams end to end, helping us increase how quickly we can build across Pubity Suite, AI and our wider data roadmap.
Why join us?
- A high ownership engineering role at one of the world’s largest social publishers.
- Direct ownership of products used across the business.
- A small team with short decision cycles and very little process drag.
- The opportunity to influence how our engineering function develops rather than joining something that’s already defined.
- Hands on exposure across product, AI, data, editorial and commercial.
- Genuine AI product work in a business already using the technology every day.
- Full benefits package.
- London HQ, hybrid working.
Please note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Pubity Group is committed to fostering equal opportunities within our organisation. We are dedicated to building a diverse workforce at every level, and we warmly invite all community members to pursue openings with us.

✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned.
