The role
To identify and acquire videos and other content from the internet to the Pubity Group’s relevant social media pages (namely Facebook). To ensure the best content is being posted across the Group’s social media pages to drive engagement. Compiling analytics and KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Meet set targets for content acquisition outreach (including content outreached for, content permissions returned, partner libraries looked through with set targets for content flagged)
- Liaising directly with contributors to acquire consent to their content
- Increasing usage of videos on Pubity Group’s social media pages
- Identifying high quality videos from across the internet and various social media sites for us to post
- Carrying out copyright and contractual checks on the content
- Storyboarding videos to our internal video editing team
- Building effective and engaging relationships with our contributors
- Collaborating with all content teams to continuously increase usage of owned or submitted video
- Identifying and researching popular subjects for us to cover across Pubity Group brands
- Collaborating with the content team to increase the maximum potential value of all content we gain the right to use
- Compiling daily analytics on usage of video across the Group’s social media pages
- Reporting directly to the Social Video Manager daily to provide an overview of conversions, analytics and statistics
What you need to have done before
- 2+ year experience within a licensing, content acquisition or online publishing company
- Strong communicator in written form, over phone and email
- Strong attention to detail
- A target focused approach
- Experience of building effective business relationships
- Ability to prioritise and develop with the growth of the company
- Highly organised and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to influence and build relationships easily with others
- Polite and professional approach and looks to represent the company well at all times
- Ability to storyboard and express your ideas regarding the content you find
Desirable:
- Understanding of copyright law and legislation surrounding content acquisition
