We're looking for a
Senior Social Media Manager to join Pubity's Emerging Brands team - the home of our next generation of breakout brands: Old Friend Club, Try Each Other's, Dad Says Jokes, Filmseal and Fluffy.
These are the brands Pubity is growing into its next big stars and this role is right at the heart of that mission. You’ll own the full social lifecycle - idea → edit → publish → community → optimise, working closely with our social, production and freelance creator teams.
- What you’ll do
- Own the day-to-day channels
- Manage and grow Old Friend Club across Tik Tok, Instagram and You Tube.
- Maintain a consistent, recognisable brand presence that stands out in the scroll.
- Identifying creators to work with and opportunities to increase engagement.
- Oversee a team of social media admins managing day-to-day content across multiple brands.
- Track performance and iterate using analytics and social tools (retention, saves, shares, watch time, comments).
- Report regularly to the Emerging Brands Lead on content strategy, learnings and roll-outs.
- Create and edit high-performing content
- Identify relevant trends early and translate them into content that fits.
- Know what to lean into, what to adapt and what to avoid.
- Edit social-first videos and assets (with strong pacing, hooks and platform-native style).
- Work confidently with fast turnarounds and reactive editing when trends move quickly.
- Drive community management
- Oversee community engagement across all brands, reply, moderate and ensure tone of voice is always on-brand and appropriate.
- Craft captions and on-platform copy that’s witty, warm and culturally aware.
- Help shape the future of our Emerging Brands
- Collaborate closely with the Emerging Brands Lead to develop new original format ideas across the portfolio.
- Contribute to bigger brand-building moments: influencer activations, merch launches, editorial campaigns, and partnership opportunities.
- Bring creative ambition to every brand - thinking beyond content calendars and into what could make each brand genuinely iconic.
- What you'll bring
- Proven experience in social media management, with ideally 1+ years of people management experience.
- Hands‑on experience growing social media channels and creating content.
- A strong creative eye and editorial instinct for what makes content stop the scroll.
- Deep platform knowledge across Tik Tok, Instagram and Facebook - you understand the algorithm and what drives performance on each.
- Strong editing skills across video and photo (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva, or equivalents).
- Excellent copywriting and community instincts: engaging, witty and always brand‑appropriate.
- A genuine interest in brand-building, you think beyond posts and into the bigger picture.
- Comfortable working at pace, juggling multiple brands, and adapting to frequent platform and cultural shifts.
- Bonus if you have
- Experience working across entertainment, viral, or social-first media brands.
- Familiarity with Monday. com, social listening tools, and insights platforms.
- Experience with influencer marketing, talent management, or brand partnerships.
- Interest or experience using AI tools to support content workflows and creative testing.
