We're looking for a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Manager to help us build the future of Pubity Group. As we enter an ambitious new chapter of growth, you'll be the point person for all things hiring, owning our recruitment function from sourcing to onboarding, and helping us grow a world-class team across the UK, US, and beyond. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that will see you work across departments, collaborating closely with team leads, external recruiters, and senior leadership. You'll help professionalise our hiring systems, manage recruitment budget and suppliers, and ensure every candidate touchpoint reflects our culture and ambition. You'll also play a leading role in designing and implementing a freelance-friendly talent attraction and engagement model that gives us greater flexibility and reach, while working closely with our People & Culture team to create a joined-up experience across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across roles in all departments including social, commercial, studio, and operations, from role definition to onboarding.
- Build and manage strong talent pipelines, proactively identifying and engaging top candidates in advance of hiring demand.
- Design and implement a flexible recruitment model that supports both permanent hires and freelance/contractor needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand their needs and help shape hiring strategy and role profiles.
- Manage and optimise relationships with external recruiters, suppliers, and talent platforms – ensuring performance, accountability and cost control.
- Own the recruitment budget, ensuring financial visibility and value across all resourcing efforts.
- Review and improve our recruitment tools, systems, and reporting – from job specs to application flow to onboarding process.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience at every stage, reflective of our values, culture and creative edge.
- Work closely with the People & Culture team to ensure a seamless and joined-up talent journey across onboarding, compliance and ongoing employee engagement.
- Support workforce planning conversations, helping forecast future needs and flag hiring gaps early.
- Provide regular updates to the CEO and department heads, supporting data-led decisions and fast-moving processes.
Key Attributes
- Proven experience in talent acquisition (either in-house or agency), ideally within media, digital, creative, or startup environments.
- Confident sourcing and closing across a range of role types and levels of seniority.
- Great instincts for people: able to identify standout candidates and advocate for strong hiring practices.
- A natural organiser who can manage multiple searches at once, without dropping the ball.
- Financially literate: able to manage budget and supplier relationships with confidence and clarity.
- Comfortable using recruitment systems and tools to drive efficiency and scale.
- Familiar with (or eager to improve) recruitment systems and tools to improve hiring effectiveness.
- Tenacious, positive and pragmatic. You love finding solutions, not just posting job ads.
- Knowledge of employment compliance and EDI best practices.
- Comfortable acting as an ambassador for the business and working directly with the leadership team.
Bonus Points For
- Experience hiring across international markets (particularly US and UK).
- A network of contacts across media, tech, and creative sectors.
