About the Role
As the MemeZar Facebook Channel Manager, you will own the performance and growth of the MemeZar Facebook page. You will be responsible for driving revenue and engagement targets by developing and executing a content strategy that maximises reach, audience engagement, and monetisation. This is a hands-on role that blends creative content curation with data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue & Engagement Ownership
- Own revenue and engagement targets for the MemeZar Facebook page, taking full accountability for hitting KPIs.
- Develop and execute the strategy and direction for the page to maximise growth and monetisation.
- Content Management & Optimisation
- Source and curate high-quality static content directly for the page, ensuring it aligns with the MemeZar brand and audience expectations.
- Upload video and static content, ensuring all posts are properly formatted and optimised for maximum engagement.
- Monitor content performance and take corrective action: remove underperforming content and replace with optimised content to meet engagement and revenue metrics.
- Maintain an organised content library and scheduling system to ensure a consistent posting cadence.
- Content Planning & Scheduling
- Plan and schedule posts to meet targeted publishing goals, ensuring the content calendar is followed consistently.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align content schedules with key trends, events, and campaigns.
- Performance Tracking & Analysis
- Analyse audience behaviour and performance metrics using Facebook’s analytics tools to inform content strategy.
- Identify patterns and trends in audience engagement to refine and continuously optimise page performance.
- Implement data-driven insights to improve reach, engagement, and monetisation outcomes.
- Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure all content meets platform and company quality standards before publishing.
- Ensure compliance with Facebook’s community guidelines and copyright policies.
- Reporting & Strategic Insights
- Provide regular reports on content performance, highlighting key insights and growth opportunities.
- Present and lead meetings, sharing key findings and data tracking with stakeholders.
- Share recommendations with the team to enhance overall content strategy and engagement.
- Trend Analysis & Industry Awareness
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.
- Identify emerging content opportunities to maintain Pubity Group’s leadership in digital publishing.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with the Content Research teams to align content with overall business goals.
- Work closely with social editors, video editors, and the Social Video Manager to ensure high-performing content is prioritised.
- Communicate key findings and best practices to improve overall team effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally within a digital media, publishing, or social-first company.
- Strong understanding of Facebook algorithms, content trends, and analytics tools.
- Proven ability to analyse data and use insights to inform content and monetisation decisions.
- Experience with social media scheduling, publishing, and performance optimisation tools.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience owning revenue or engagement targets for a social media channel is a strong plus.
