As we continue scaling our social operations, we’re looking for a Content Researcher to discover high-performing static and UGC content for our pages and brands.

As a Content Researcher, you will identify and source viral memes, news stories, and engaging visual content from across the internet for use across Pubity Group’s platforms. You will play a key role in spotting memes, trending news moments, and culturally relevant content that resonates with global audiences and performs across our social channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Discover and curate viral memes, news moments, images, and UGC video content across platforms
  • Monitor platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, and X to identify emerging trends and stories
  • Use strong editorial judgement to identify content that aligns with brand tone, audience interests, and platform performance trends
  • Compile and organise content for internal teams to review and publish across Pubity Group pages
  • Collaborate with internal teams to brief and support content that can be developed into high-performing posts
  • Help maintain organised workflows for sourcing, reviewing, tagging, and sharing content internally
  • Maintain a clear pipeline of discovered content and trending stories
  • Stay up to date with internet culture, memes, breaking news, and viral trends

  • Strong understanding of internet culture, memes, and social media trends
  • Exceptional understanding of platform standards and audience preferences
  • Editorially sharp, able to quickly spot viral memes, breaking news moments, and high-performing content
  • Strong communicator across email, phone, and messaging platforms
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a high-output, reactive publishing environment
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in social publishing, digital media, or content research
  • Experience identifying news stories or cultural moments that could translate into social content
