The Crown – Egham’s Vibrant Heartbeat
Located in the bustling heart of Egham High Street, The Crown is perfectly positioned amidst a lively mix of local pubs, eateries, and shops. This affluent town, with its thriving student population and exceptional transport links to London, provides the ideal location for The Old Crown.
The Crown is a single-bar operation with a strong focus on drinks, now amplified by the addition of Sky Sports, which has quickly gained a loyal following. With two popular quiz nights and lively weekend entertainment, it’s a go-to destination for locals and students alike.
Beyond its drinks offering, The Crown excels with its Dark Kitchen menus, consistently delivering over £4,000 in weekly food sales. To continue this success, the ideal General Manager will bring strong food-management skills and the ability to assist and support the kitchen when needed. In winter, the pub’s roaring fires and premium cask ales create a cosy retreat, while its spacious front and back gardens double capacity in the summer, offering a perfect setting for alfresco dining and socialising.
The Crown has recently embraced the new Pubsmiths brand, aligning perfectly with local tastes and unlocking exciting growth opportunities. Working alongside an experienced management team, the incoming General Manager will be instrumental in building on this momentum.
We’re looking for a guest-obsessed leader who places the customer experience at the core of every decision. With a sharp eye for detail creating an inviting atmosphere, you’ll seamlessly connect with the local and student communities, ensuring The Crown thrives as a cherished hotspot.
If you’re ready to take this already successful business to new heights, we’d love to hear from you!
