As an Audio Editor you are responsible for processing dialogue on multiple projects based on tech & digital media. You will be focused on working with several major global tech clients to which you need to ensure a high-quality service is always delivered. Your primary responsibility will be to edit and process high volumes of speech data for machine learning, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with project specifications. This is a key role in helping deliver clean, annotated, and optimised speech datasets for use in cutting-edge voice technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently edit dialogue for various TTS projects, ensuring high quality audio output.
- Perform tasks such as comping takes, trimming regions, fetching missing exports, strip silence, working with timing constraints, importing audio files into DAW sessions, and anything else to support the post team with their day-to-day duties.
- Collaborate with the post-production team and engineers to deliver audio that meets the clientβs vision.
- Organise, track and manage audio files in a systematic manner ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
- Troubleshoot audio issues and ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications.
- Stay up to date on the latest audio editing software, best practices and techniques.
- Report any issues that might impact progress or quality.
Requirements:
- Proficient in the following software and tools: WAV file audio editors (Preferably Adobe Audition and/or IZotope RX), Avid Pro Tools, MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong interest in audio technology.
- Good ability in troubleshooting technical and IT issues.
- Able to adapt and learn new skills and software.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Self-driven, resourceful and a team player who can work well with all levels.
