It is an incredibly exciting time to join PTSG Water Treatment. As a rapidly expanding leader in the water safety and treatment industry, we are setting new standards for excellence across the UK. With a portfolio spanning over 25,000 sites nationwide and a team of dedicated specialists operating across every sector, our growth is driven by a commitment to delivering faster, more innovative, and deeper solutions for our clients. We are not just expanding our footprint; we are evolving our capabilities and investing in the experts who make it happen. If you are looking to be part of a forward-thinking, industry-leading team where your contribution truly matters, we want you to be part of our journey.

What You'll Be Doing Here

As our Technical Accounts Director, you will hold overall strategic ownership and leadership of our major static water hygiene and treatment contracts in Cumbria. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team and serving as the contract owner, you will act as the primary relationship owner and escalation point for senior stakeholders.

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the contract across all sites.

  • Chair weekly internal reviews with Operations and Group Key Accounts, produce and deliver executive summary reporting to senior stakeholders, and lead high-level contract reviews, retenders, and service expansion discussions.

  • Take full ownership of the contract's financial performance, margin management, cost control, and invoicing accuracy.

  • Ensure daily billing for reactive works is completed, prepare invoicing, and review and approve high-value or high-risk quotations.

  • Maintain oversight of contract compliance and regulatory standards, including ACoP L8, HSG274, and SFG legionella guidelines.

  • Own the contract risk register, track and close out mitigation actions, and ensure absolute audit readiness for external inspections.

  • Ensure all reactive works, service quotations, and operational deliverables consistently meet strict contractual KPIs and SLAs.

  • Identify and provide strategic justification for resource requirements and planning across the Account Manager, Supervisor, and Coordinator team, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Who We're Looking For

  • Extensive background in the water hygiene and compliance industry, with deep technical knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and legionella control frameworks.

  • Proven track record of directing large-scale, complex contracts and managing high-level relationships with major public sector or corporate clients.

  • Strong financial literacy with demonstrable experience managing high-value account margins, cost control, and complex billing structures.

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally.

  • Must be willing to apply and obtain a valid P4 pass and Security Clearance (SC).

What We Offer

This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday), allowing you to truly switch off with no on-call or weekend work, plus our offices close during Christmas!

  • 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

  • A family-oriented culture focused on your career progression, training, and development, with a strong ethos of promoting from within.

  • Life Assurance

  • Pension scheme

  • Access to the Vivup employee benefits platform.
