We are seeking a proactive and commercially‑minded Operations Manager to champion excellence and water safety compliance from our Glasgow office. If you are a proven leader with deep technical knowledge of water hygiene and a passion for developing long‑term client partnerships, this is your opportunity to make a real impact on operations across Scotland.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead and mentor our field and office teams across water hygiene, risk assessing, plumbing, and water treatment services throughout Scotland.
- Drive operational efficiency and great service delivery by managing the entire colleague lifecycle, from recruitment through to development.
- Champion efficiency and continuous improvement, ensuring full compliance with all Health & Safety and quality standards.
- Nurture and strengthen long‑term client partnerships to maintain our high client retention rate.
- Proactively identify opportunities for business expansion and craft tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Manage client accounts and financials, meeting regularly with partners to ensure full satisfaction and understanding of their unique compliance requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background and proven technical knowledge of the water compliance industry, including regulations like HSG 274 and ACoP L8 (Essential).
- Demonstrable experience in client relationship management and leading field‑based operational teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels, adapting your style for clients, technicians, and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities while maintaining focus.
- Confidence in using systems like Excel and CRM platforms (e.g., SimPro) and quickly picking up new tools.
