We also deliver specialist power earthing solutions to clients across various sectors. Our expertise also includes electrical testing, encompassing fixed wire and portable appliance testing.
PTSG Electrical Services Ltd is part of a group comprising five independent divisions, including PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd, PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd, and PTSG Water Treatment Ltd, offering a comprehensive range of services under one umbrella.

Due to increasing demand, a new position has opened within our Power Earthing Department.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate about success, and committed to personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Managing and conducting all power earthing and specialist testing operations, including:
- Earthing system measurements
- Earthing system surveys
- Soil resistivity surveys
- Periodic inspection of existing earthing systems
- Continuity testing
Providing internal training and upskilling of earthing engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations, maintaining high standards of delivery.
Engaging with clients, contractors, and internal teams on all power earthing matters.
Generating detailed survey and condition reports.
Attending site and pre-start meetings as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge of earthing system measurements
- Practical understanding of earthing and lightning protection standards
- Ability to communicate complex technical and commercial issues effectively
- Proven ability to develop working relationships quickly
- Experience in writing clear, concise documentation
- Willingness to travel across the UK
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- CAD experience is advantageous
- Good command of written and spoken English; strong technical report writing skills
- Valid UK driving license
