We deliver specialist power earthing solutions to clients across various sectors. Our expertise also includes electrical testing, encompassing fixed wire and portable appliance testing.
PTSG Electrical Services Ltd is one of the Group’s five independent divisions, alongside PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd, PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd, and PTSG Water Treatment Ltd, offering a full range of services under one roof.

Due to increasing demand, a new position has opened within our Power Earthing Department.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate about success, and eager to develop personally and professionally.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and conducting power earthing and testing operations, including:
- Earthing system measurements
- Earthing system surveys
- Soil resistivity surveys
- Periodic inspections of earthing systems
- Continuity testing
Providing internal training and upskilling of earthing engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations, maintaining high standards of delivery.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal staff on all matters related to power earthing.
Generating complex survey and condition reports.
Attending site and pre-start meetings as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge of earthing system measurements
- Practical understanding of earthing and lightning protection standards
- Ability to communicate technical and commercial issues effectively
- Quickly developing effective working relationships
- Experience in clear and concise documentation
- Willingness to travel across the UK
- Organized, detail-oriented, proactive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is a plus
- Good written and spoken English, with technical report writing skills
- Full UK driving license
Ongoing training will be provided to maintain high standards and meet client expectations.
