We're looking for a reliable and motivated Portable Appliance Tester (PAT Tester) to join our growing team in Berkshire.

About the Role

As a PAT Tester, you’ll play a key role in helping businesses stay safe and compliant. You’ll be responsible for inspecting and testing electrical equipment in line with the latest IET Code of Practice. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we’ll support you with training and opportunities for growth.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT Testing) to the current IET standards
  • Deliver high-quality, accurate results to meet both client expectations and industry regulations
  • Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with our Health & Safety procedures
  • Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues, representing PTSG with integrity
  • Stay up to date with changes in industry standards and best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • City & Guilds 2377 qualification is preferred—but not essential; full training is provided
  • A full UK driving licence is required
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems for reporting and submitting results
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach
  • A good level of literacy and numeracy
