PTSG is recruiting Trainee Lightning Protection Engineers to join our expert team. You’ll receive full training, mentoring, and nationally recognised qualifications as you learn how to keep buildings and structures across the UK safe and compliant.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with testing, inspection, and maintenance of lightning protection systems.
- Learn how to complete compliance reports and issue certification.
- Identify and support remedial works and repairs.
- Work safely at height across a variety of client sites.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and your allocated van.
Your development will be structured, hands‑on, and fully funded.
What We’re Looking For
- A practical mindset and willingness to learn specialist skills.
- Comfortable working at height (full training provided).
- A full UK driving licence.
- A good work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
- Bonus (but not essential): CSCS Card, experience in construction or electrical trades, IPAF/PASMA.
