Are you a hands-on engineer who takes pride in doing things right? Want to be part of a fast-growing, well-established fire safety company that genuinely looks after its people? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re a trusted electrical and fire safety servicing company with over 10 years of experience, supporting 65,000+ sites across the UK. Our client base includes local authorities, housing associations, architects, developers, and landlords.

With 150+ staff at our Leeds HQ and 100 fully qualified engineers nationwide, we’re continuing to grow — and now we’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same, but your core responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers to British Standards
  • Carrying out site surveys and producing customer quotations
  • Working from a pre-planned diary arranged by our operations team
  • Communicating clearly with our office team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Completing accurate job documentation
  • Managing your own stock and equipment
  • Keeping up to date with fire safety products and regulations
What We’re Looking For

You don’t just turn up — you take pride in your work. You’re:

  • A holder of a full UK driving licence (max 6 points, no DR10 in last 5 years)
  • Able to pass a Standard DBS check
  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Detail-focused with strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident working independently in the field
Experience That Helps (But Isn’t Essential)

We’re happy to train the right person. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • FIA Servicing & Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers qualification
  • BAFE certification
  • Experience servicing fire extinguishers

No qualifications yet? If you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll give you the training.

What You’ll Get in Return

We invest in our people and make sure you have everything you need to succeed:

  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays & Christmas shutdown)
  • Extra holiday for every year of service (up to 5 additional days)
  • Company pension
  • BUPA Employee Assistance Programme, including mental health support
  • Fully equipped company vehicle (business use)
  • All tools, PPE and uniform provided
  • Company iPad and phone
  • A stable, growing company with real long-term career opportunities
Working Hours
