Are you an experienced electrical professional with a passion for safety, quality, and technical excellence? Join our team as a Qualified Electrical Supervisor and play a key role in driving compliance and standards across our nationwide operations.
About the Role
As a Qualified Supervisor, you’ll be the technical authority ensuring the highest standards of electrical testing and installation works. You’ll oversee compliance, coach engineers, and maintain our reputation for safety and quality across Electrical Installation Testing (EIT), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), and Remedial Electrical works (REM).
What You’ll Do
- Lead compliance with internal and external safety and technical standards.
- Deliver training, competency assessments, and ongoing development for engineers.
- Conduct audits during and after works to ensure quality and safety.
- Maintain calibration and approval of testing equipment.
- Investigate customer complaints and audit rectification works.
- Produce site‑specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMs).
- Deliver toolbox talks and CPD sessions to operatives.
- Act as a NICEIC signatory for certifications.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2 years supervisory or managerial responsibility for electrical installation standards.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18 or later).
- Electrical Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
- Excellent communication and IT skills (Word, Excel).
- Health & Safety certifications (IOSH, SSSTS, or SMSTS) desirable.
