If you know your way around lifelines, guardrails and working at height, you’ll already know this isn’t your average site role. The work is varied, the standards are high, and no two jobs look the same.

You’ll be working across commercial buildings, high-rise developments and industrial sites — installing and maintaining systems that keep people safe when working at height.

What the role involves

This is hands-on, site-based work where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of height safety systems, including:

  • Fall arrest and life safety lines
  • Eyebolts (fall restraint and abseil)
  • Gantries and walkways
  • Guardrails
  • Fixed and portable ladders
  • General lifting equipment

Alongside this, you’ll:

  • Ensure all work meets British Standards and strict compliance requirements
  • Identify and report any remedial or additional works
  • Work across different sites nationwide, with occasional stays away
  • Support other divisions when required

What you’ll need

  • Experience working at height or within access / safety systems
  • Confidence using tools and working in a hands-on environment
  • Good understanding of health & safety standards
  • Full UK driving licence
