About the role

We build the training that customers, partners, and engineers learn from. We're hiring a Subject Matter Expert to develop the content behind it: instructor-led and self-paced courseware, certification exam items, hands-on lab environments, and the activities that tie it all together. This is a role for someone who knows HPE technology deeply and enjoys the craft of explaining it. You'll spend your time turning product releases, reference architectures, and real deployment experience into learning material that holds up in front of a room of experienced engineers.

What you'll do

  • Develop courseware — instructor guides, student guides, lab guides, and supporting materials — across the HPE portfolio
  • Write and review certification and assessment exam items, including item analysis and defensible answer rationales
  • Design, build, and validate hands-on lab environments; write lab guides that work the first time, every time
  • Create demos, scenarios, and learning activities that reflect how the technology is actually deployed
  • Keep existing content current as products, firmware, interfaces, and best practices change
  • Serve as the technical authority on content accuracy — technical review, QA, and sign-off on your own work and others'
  • Partner with instructional designers, lab engineers, and program managers to deliver on release schedules

What we're looking for

Required

  • Current HPE MASE (Master Accredited Solutions Expert) certification — active, not lapsed
  • Strong, current working knowledge of the HPE product and solution portfolio, including recent releases
  • Hands-on implementation or architecture experience in real customer environments
  • Clear technical writing; the ability to take something complex and make it teachable without making it wrong
  • A genuine interest in broadening your expertise across all of compute, storage, networking, and AI — not just the domain you came from
  • Comfort working to deadlines against product release cycles

Nice to have

  • Experience authoring courseware, certification exams, or technical documentation
  • Prior instructing, delivery, or technical enablement experience
  • Additional HPE certifications, or credentials from adjacent vendors
  • Lab automation and infrastructure-as-code skills (scripting, Terraform, Ansible, virtualization platforms)

Why this role

  • Breadth. Few roles give you the opportunity to upskill deeply across compute, storage, networking, and AI at the same time. This one requires it.
  • Currency. You'll work with new products early, because the training must exist when the product ships.
  • Impact at scale. The material you write is what thousands of partners and employees use to learn.
  • Flexibility. Full-time or part-time, salaried either way.
