PTS specialises in workplace transformation — creating intelligent physical and digital environments that enhance experience, productivity, collaboration, and sustainability. With over 40 years of industry expertise, we work with some of the world's leading organisations on complex, high-profile projects shaping the future of work. PTS is proud to be an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT), meaning our people are at the heart of everything we do and directly share in the company's long-term success, including profit growth and strategic decision-making.

Our services span workplace strategy, design, technology integration, and consultancy-led solutions. As demand continues to grow, we are expanding our commercial team to support ambitious growth across key sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Account Manager to drive new business and develop strategic client relationships across our Workplace Transformation service and the Built Environment. This is a consultative, solution-led sales role suited to someone who enjoys working with senior stakeholders, understanding complex client challenges, and leading opportunities from first conversation through to contract award. You will be responsible for building pipeline, winning new clients, growing existing accounts, and leading bids for high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Develop relationships with end clients, consultants, architects, project managers, and partners
  • Lead opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, presentation, and close
  • Coordinate internal bid teams and lead RFP responses
  • Position PTS as a strategic partner, not just a service provider
  • Work closely with marketing and delivery teams to drive growth strategy
  • Represent PTS at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Track performance, forecasts, and revenue targets

Ideal Background

  • 4–5+ years' experience in Business Development, Account Management, or consultative sales
  • Proven ability to win new business and grow strategic client relationships
  • Experience selling services or solutions (rather than high-volume products)
  • Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers and leading commercial conversations
  • Strong commercial awareness and pipeline management skills
  • Confident presenting, negotiating, and closing complex opportunities
  • Proactive, organised, and results-driven

Why Join PTS?

  • Work on high-profile, innovative workplace projects with major global brands
  • We sell meaningful, consultancy-led solutions — not commoditised products
  • Benefit from our EOT structure, sharing in the company's success through profit growth and being part of an ownership culture
  • Be part of a collaborative, experienced commercial and delivery team
  • Genuine opportunity to influence growth strategy and build long-term client partnerships
  • Competitive salary with performance-based commission/bonus
  • Strong reputation and 40+ years of market credibility
