We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of complex, high-impact product experiences across our CAD and PLM/PDM platforms. This role blends strategic design thinking with hands‑on execution, driving user‑centered solutions that scale across SaaS environments. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and global design teams to shape intuitive, elegant, and resilient user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design of CAD and PLM/PDM features, including geometry workflows, BOM management, and engineering change processes.
• Translate complex technical requirements into intuitive user interfaces and interactions.
• Own design systems and patterns that ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across platforms.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to define product vision, user needs, and design strategy.
• Influence long-term product direction through user insights, data, and design best practices.
• Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and design reviews to align teams and drive innovation.

Quality & Validation

• Develop prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Ensure designs meet performance, accessibility, and security standards.
• Advocate for design quality and user experience throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of feedback, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Champion design thinking and user advocacy across the organization.
• Explore emerging design tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance team capabilities.
• Work in Agile environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities and user needs.

Skills & Knowledge

• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping platforms.
• Strong understanding of CAD workflows, PLM/PDM systems, and SaaS product design.
• Experience designing for complex systems, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing complex, scalable solutions.
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with global stakeholders.
• Prior exposure to CAD/CAM or enterprise software design is a strong plus.
