Field Service Engineer β Gloucester and Surrounding Area β up to Β£39,000 Pension / Healthcare β DAYS ROLE
My client is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a great business that is growing very steadily. A fantastic environment filled with great people. They are very well known materials handling equipment service providers.
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customers owned & hired MH equipment. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
This role will involve working on a days based shift pattern Mon β Friday β travelling to customers sites, in the local area assessing and solving issues. Paid door to door.
Duties to include but not limited to;
- Maintenance on machines and equipment
- Knowledge of lifting equipment FLT etc
- Knowledge of hydraulics and Pneumatics.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Must have a positive can do attitude and the ability to work individually and within teams.
The Ideal Person β
Must be from an Engineering background, ideally having experience with access equipment eg: Industrial Lifting Equipment, forklift trucks / HGVs / Agricultural equipment / REME / ARMY etc
Must be proactive and have a systematic approach to problem solving. Good communication skills and be able to establish and maintain effective contact with staff and key partners, suppliers and contractors. Must be flexible and Self Motivated.
Any Engineering background would be advantageous.
