We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established distribution operation based in Barton-under-Needwood. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing and forward-thinking team, working with cutting-edge automated systems.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a range of automated equipment including conveyor systems and associated machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Work to minimise downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a distribution or automated warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of conveyor systems, drives, motors, and control systems.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (rotating days and nights).
- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
