As part of our continued development, we are seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated and experienced Private Tutor to join our team and provide structured, engaging and individually tailored tuition.
The Private Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality one-to-one and small-group tuition , assessing each student's academic ability and identifying areas where additional support or development is required. The tutor will develop individual learning plans and prepare structured lessons that are appropriate to the student's age, academic level, learning style and educational objectives.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions, prepare appropriate teaching materials, exercises and assessments, explain subject concepts clearly, and provide additional support in areas where students may be experiencing difficulties. The tutor will support students with subject knowledge, homework, coursework, revision, examination preparation and the development of effective study techniques.
A key responsibility of the position will be to regularly assess and monitor student performance. The Private Tutor will maintain appropriate records of lessons, assessments, attendance, learning objectives and student progress. They will identify areas requiring further improvement, establish realistic academic targets and adapt future lessons according to the student's progress and individual requirements.
The tutor will be expected to use a range of teaching methods and educational resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. This may include developing worksheets, practice exercises, revision materials, mock assessments and other learning resources. Lessons should encourage students to participate actively, develop independent learning skills and improve their confidence in the relevant subject area.
The Private Tutor will also provide constructive and appropriate feedback regarding student performance and progress and, where required, communicate with parents, guardians and the company's management regarding learning objectives, progress and areas requiring additional attention.
