We’re looking for a hands-on Yard Engineer to join a busy team preparing, testing, and repairing generators. This role is mainly yard-based, with occasional travel to customer sites. You’ll support the Workshop Foreman and ensure our equipment is ready for hire.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, service, and maintain generators for hire.
- Carry out repairs on generators at customer sites when needed.
- Assist with loading and offloading equipment.
- Drive a forklift truck in the yard as required.
- Manage generator deliveries and returns, including refueling.
- Take part in an on-call rota.
- Keep work areas and vehicles clean and safe.
