An established electrical contractor operating across Wales and the South West is looking to appoint a Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of work across multiple live schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager or a Senior Electrician / Site Manager ready to step into a full project delivery role.

You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical projects, including:

  • Managing projects from pre-construction handover through to final handover and defects
  • Overall control of programme, procurement, labour, cost and quality
  • Full understanding of drawings, specifications and contract requirements
  • Producing programmes, procurement schedules and technical submissions
  • Managing procurement of materials, plant and subcontractor packages
  • Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best value
  • Managing site teams and site managers, including roles, responsibilities and performance
  • Full responsibility for health & safety on site in line with HSE and company procedures
  • Managing subcontractor compliance across H&S, quality and installation standards
  • Attending and leading client and main contractor meetings
  • Monitoring progress and reporting monthly to the business
  • Supporting commercial processes including applications, CVs and identifying risk
  • Managing commissioning, coordination of trades and final testing
  • Delivering project handover, O&M manuals and as-fitted documentation
  • Coordinating client training, soft landings and defect close-out

  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Electrician
  • Experience delivering electrical projects (all levels considered)
  • SMSTS preferred (training available for the right person)
  • Estimating or commercial exposure beneficial but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
