As a Design Engineer in the Solar Industry, you’re probably already focused on driving the future of energy to greener, cleaner technology. Now you’re potentially on the lookout for a new role. How about taking your experience to work for an organisation that is driving the design, installation and maintenance of Solar Panels for our Schools and businesses?
Over the last 7 years, they have grown their business through reputation into one of the UK’s leading providers of PV and battery storage solutions. They’ve built an impressive client base in the commercial/education space, helping their customers save millions of pounds and thousands of tonnes of CO2. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Solar Designer to join them on their journey as they continue their mission to help our institutions adopt green energy.
Ideally, you will be able to come to their Warwick office 2 times per week, and you will be expected to visit site around once per month. However, they will also consider Designers who want to work remotely but are close to the midlands.
Responsibilities:
- Take projects from survey to completion.
- Design solar systems.
- Produce engineering drawings.
- Undertake site surveys.
Necessary skills:
- Commercial Solar design experience.
- Experience with solar software design packages such as PVSOL, SolarEdge, AutoCad or similar.
- Electrical and mechanical design experience.
- Valid driving licence.
What will you get in return?
- Salary up to £65,000.
