We're working with a well-established, independent gas and electricity supplier who're going through an exciting period of growth - they're looking for a Senior Electricity Settlements Analyst to join their Billing & Settlements team.
The Role
Our client supplies tailored energy and Net‑Zero solutions to industrial and commercial customers, and they need someone who genuinely knows their way around metering, settlements and industry data flows to help them navigate one of the biggest changes the industry has seen in years: Market‑wide Half‑Hourly Settlement (MHHS).
- What you'll be doing
- Leading MHHS activity within the Settlements team - supporting the wider Project Team through migration and helping build robust processes for life after go‑live.
- Acting as the subject matter expert the Policy and Regulations team leans on to understand what regulatory change actually means in practice.
- Being the senior point of contact for electricity metering (new connections, disconnections, the lot) and settlement processes.
- Improving and documenting processes that keep settlement accurate and the metering portfolio running smoothly.
About you
- Solid experience in a metering, settlements or industry operations role within the energy industry.
- Proven expertise in at least one of: electricity metering, industry data flows, or electricity settlements.
- A working knowledge of the UK electricity supply market and settlement arrangements.
- A proactive, ownership‑taking approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
