A world class manufacturing business in Blackwood is currently expanding and is looking for a Quality Engineer to join them on their journey. They’re incredibly well known in the Electrical Engineering industry for their innovative products, including Switchgears, transformers, generators and many more. They’re a trusted partner to companies across the globe in a variety of industries, including Power Companies, Large industrial plants, infrastructure development and renewable energy projects.
As the Quality Engineer you will ensure that all production processes, products, materials meet the right quality standards. You will resolve quality-related issues, drive continuous improvement and manage quality systems.
Responsibilities:- Quality system management - Develop quality control procedures, conduct inspections and maintain relevant ISO standards.
- Investigate NCRS, perform root cause analysis and ensure timely completion of corrective and preventive actions.
- Work with design, production and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement lean manufacturing improvements.
- Train production staff on quality standards and maintain manufacturing records and documentation systems.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards.
- Quality engineering experience within Electrical industry (switchgear, electrical equipment, power distribution).
- Understanding of lean six sigma tools.
- Salary up to £40,000.
- 26 Days holiday.
