We’re looking for a qualified Reactive Maintenance Electrician to support planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large, operational airbase environment.
This is a varied FM role working across hangars, workshops, offices, accommodation blocks, control rooms, canteens, and utility buildings — keeping critical infrastructure safe, compliant, and fully operational.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reactive and planned electrical maintenance (PPM)
- Fault finding, testing, inspection, and repairs
- Emergency lighting testing and remedial works
- DB inspections, sockets, lighting, and general repairs
- PAT testing and minor installation work
- Small rewires and compliance-related electrical tasks
- Occasional minor mechanical / plumbing / fabric support (multi-skilled FM environment ~20%)
- Completing job sheets, compliance records, and CAFM updates accurately
What you’ll need:
- 18th Edition
- ECS Gold Card (essential)
- Solid experience in commercial or FM maintenance environments
- Solid fault-finding and reactive repair skills
- Comfortable working in a secure, operational setting
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points, no drink driving)
