Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – Permanent Role

Location: Crewe + Regional Travel

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (Overtime after 42 hours + On Call)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

A new opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a busy mobile maintenance team. You\’ll work across a portfolio of retail and commercial sites in Crewe, Chester, Macclesfield, and the wider Cheshire area, delivering high-quality service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive repairs, and minor installations
Working on commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems
Diagnosing and resolving faults, including basic electrical issues
Carrying out general building services tasks and occasional fabric maintenance
Participating in an on-call rota
Keeping plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas clean and safe
Supporting both minor and major repair works to heating systems

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
Core Safety: COCN1
Experience in reactive maintenance on commercial contracts
Capable installation skills and a proactive attitude
Full UK Driving License (no more than 6 points)
