Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer β Permanent Role
Location: Crewe + Regional Travel
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am β 4:30pm (Overtime after 42 hours + On Call)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
A new opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a busy mobile maintenance team. You\βll work across a portfolio of retail and commercial sites in Crewe, Chester, Macclesfield, and the wider Cheshire area, delivering high-quality service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive repairs, and minor installations
- Working on commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems
- Diagnosing and resolving faults, including basic electrical issues
- Carrying out general building services tasks and occasional fabric maintenance
- Participating in an on-call rota
- Keeping plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas clean and safe
- Supporting both minor and major repair works to heating systems
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
- Core Safety: COCN1
- Experience in reactive maintenance on commercial contracts
- Capable installation skills and a proactive attitude
- Full UK Driving License (no more than 6 points)
