The Role
You’ll be taking the reins on a portfolio of high‑profile landscape and townscape planning projects spanning urban regeneration, new communities, tall buildings, commercial development, infrastructure and energy. From concept to planning inquiry, your expertise will help guide decisions that shape real places and long‑term outcomes. This is a role where you’ll lead with confidence, influence strategy, nurture talent, and strengthen client relationships—while being part of a friendly, collaborative, people‑first culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead, oversee and deliver landscape and townscape planning projects with a focus on quality and client satisfaction
- Provide expert input across LVIA, TVIA and strategic landscape assessments
- Guide, mentor and support a talented team, helping shape their professional growth
- Engage in business development - supporting bids, building relationships, and spotting new opportunities
- Work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver joined‑up, innovative project solutions
- Offer strategic advice on landscape capacity, sensitivity and character, including Green Belt evaluations
About you
- Extensive experience in landscape planning
- A proven track record leading complex projects and managing client relationships
- Strong LVIA / TVIA expertise and a broad understanding of landscape assessment work
- Excellent communication skills and a leadership style that inspires confidence
- Chartered status (CMLI or equivalent)
- A proactive, strategic approach and a passion for sustainable, context‑sensitive landscape design
The Package
- Salary from ÂŁ50,000 - ÂŁ70,000 (dependent on experience)
