What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll be out on the road, working independently as part of a close-knit regional team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on forecourt equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing fuel dispensing pumps, pump controllers, POS systems, tank gauges, DCDs, tank probes, submerged pump systems and PA systems.
  • Running through planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Commissioning new and refurbished sites, and calibrating fuel dispensers.
  • Assessing and reporting accidental damage for costing.
  • Carrying out site surveys.

About You

  • A solid mechanical understanding, with experience repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment.
  • A methodical approach to problem-solving, balanced with good instincts.
  • Strong customer service skills - you'll be dealing directly with site staff and customers.
  • The confidence to work unsupervised, plus the collaboration to pull together with colleagues.
  • A valid UK driving licence.

No specific forecourt experience? No problem - if you've got a strong mechanical or electromechanical background from another industry, training will be provided to get you up to speed on this kit.
