One of the UK’s largest providers of Diesel Generators is currently expanding and is looking for a Workshop Engineer to join them on their journey. A family-run business, they have grown from a small yard to six depots across the country, with one of the UK’s largest supplies of state of the art generators as well as specialist transport fleet. They’re committed to sustainability and a greener future, and have rolled out hybrid BESS units, as well as looking into cutting emissions for their customers.
As one of their Depot Electricians you will be responsible for testing, repair and maintenance of various electrical equipment within the depot. Static role, based out of their East Grinstead depot. Very strong overtime available outside of core hours (1.5x and 2x). Mon-fri role with 1 in 8 on-call.
Responsibilities:- Test, repair, maintain and wire electrical equipment.
- Assist with generator maintenance, including servicing/testing/maintenance.
- Provide maintenance assistance in the depot.
