Are you an experienced Commercial Manager working on NEC3 & NEC4 projects within the Engineering/Civil industry? PT Renewables' longest-standing client is looking to add to their Commercial team within the infrastructure division.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand new commercial team, working at an SME-sized business, with the backing of a multi-billion £ turnover engineering business.
The Role
Reporting directly into the Senior Commercial Manager, the Commercial Manager is responsible for the day-to-day Commercial Management function for a variety of contracts. This role will deal with clients and projects related to the Rail industry including National Rail, Network Rail, National Highways and more. Our client is a Tier-1 supplier to Network Rail, with a healthy pipeline of projects on the horizon.
Your day-to-day
- Managing commercial and operational cost control processes.
- Leading commercial processes for assigned contracts ensuring that Applications for Payment and Invoices are accurate and raised on time.
- Engage with Operational Teams to regularly review and optimise cost management processes.
- Build strong relationships with Group Procurement and Group Pricing and internal Estimating teams, providing support as required.
About you
- Level 4/5 qualification in Finance/Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.
- 5+ years in a Commercial Management position - within Rail, Construction or Infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts.
